1. indonesian ambassador to singapore, miss pefita augustin, has arranged an urgent meeting with president bambang susilo yudhoyono regarding the oil crisis facing indonesia. miss pefita has proposed divyesh as a solution to the rising oil prices. "with the oil reserves we can get from divyesh, not only can we power 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 homes, we will also have infinite supply of oil and rising oil prices would be a thing of the past," said miss pefita. it is widely believed that miss pefita has managed to persuade divyesh to agree to this proposal with a half eaten sandwich.
2. local police are currently on the lookout for an individual called meanru. it is understood that meanru is on the run for forcing sherry flavoured salsa down people's throats. this has led to the deaths of several people including one john ang. the only survivor of this ordeal is miss charis, who managed to survive by willingly wolfing down the salsa as part of her "diet" regime.
3. after launching a highly successful line of jewellery, didi has decided to launch another venture. this time, into the catering business in order to undercut the canteen vendors. it is understood that didi is offering everything that is in her kitchen. the menu changes by the day and you may order online by going to www.denyslovesandrew.com.
4. miss andrea loh has become the first woman to triumph over technology and in particular msn. in a press conference earlier, miss andrea was quoted to say, "u noe its like so many people dont know how evil msn is. i was like trying to go online but like the thing wouldnt let me. i was like searching all around and i finally managed to find this button that had the words sign in. i didnt like have a pen to sign with so i like juz pressed the button. like helloooo its like so small. after pressing the button, i persevered and i managed to go online. take that technology!"
5. after several flings wif GIC, singapore technologies and google, playboy/ cassanova leslie has finally decided to settle down. "thanks to yishcola dating services, i've finally managed to find the love of my life. she's constantly on my mind and she makes me really happy," said leslie. the marriage between mr leslie tay and miss econs tys will take place later today.
6. fiona xie is still in counselling.

ok hello again.
today was a pretty poignant day; we each had our moments really.
essentially 2 PW groups were in the vblock class [with div singing boulevard noless.SIGH.] and we were all working.very.hard. honestly.so everyone was really tired, stoned and in a bad mood.
some of us did share a nice/warm fuzzy/poignant/sensitive new age (hehe div.SNA)/sweet/encouraging/heartwarming moment.

mainly this goes out to those who're feeling lost and overwhelmed and like life sucks (a majority,i'm inclined to think) so yea. GUYS WE CAN DO IT. ultimately we're more than classmates; it'd do us all some gd to rmb tt once in a while.

guess tts what this blog is for eh =)

on a brighter note, class lunch was pretty fun--adding rhumbachips to the alreadylovely mocha frappucino is wonderful. also, nice having mel back!* glad yr better. if yr not mel, INFORM HER AND OUR OTHER CLASSMATES ABT THIS BLOG! D~uh! haha.
*(even if it was simultaneous with moz's absence and P** L****'s presence.not to mention TYS.and bad morning jokes.)

bleagh ok i know everybody is like slopping through mud and getting brain fart after today's PW session. you're not excited about PW, let's face it, no one is. but we'll get through it ok? Group hug!!!

*ducks the flying rotten eggs* yes yes A53 i did not forget the rest of you guys. we'll ALL get through this bullshit called PW together as a class =) shoutouts to andrea's group: 4 brains compared to 5 definitely puts your group at a disadvantage but so far your progress has been on par with the other groups with 5 people in it so keep at it k?

we should tell our juniors to do their GPP on PW and how spastic it is man....

denys - a wednesday like no other

A class lunch that sounded pretty promising started on a tragic note after we spent about half an hour debating where to go, before ending up at (of all places) KFC, which can be found just about everywhere on God's little green earth. It was just sad because we had Sakae (Sushi) and Suki (also Sushi, score one for originality) within walking distance, but Divyesh was with us so we had to compromise. =(

On the bright side, I made history today by making my very first Starbucks purchase! I was thinking of framing up the receipt but unfortunately it is currently hiding out in one of the many dustbins scattered around VJC. Also, if you were wondering why I lead such a deprived life (that I have not ever bought anything from Starbucks until today), I am extremely thrifty when it comes to food and hence (to me) using $5.90 to buy a cup of coffee is like going bungee jumping without the rope, or in more extreme situations a normal and sane girl actually considering dating Imran - insane.

Anyway, we took a class photo after that!

I know it is not very clear, but when I find the time I shall upload a bigger version of the photo into the pictures section. =) Anyway, Nicola was determinted to take the photo and that is why she is not in the photo! I would superimpose an image of her but my Photoshop skills are comparable to my command of Chinese. As you can see, my mega-watt smile is blocked by Kai's head [=(], while Colonel Sanders is stealing Kai's coffee and getting his chest carressed by Didi (who also blocked poor Daryl - haha!)

After lunch, we headed back to school where Sulas mistook my left slipper for Noah's ark and proceeded to launch it into the Koi pond with her dark magical powers. (aka her hand) Now it smells like fish poop. But it was a fun day nonetheless. =)

denys - a dedication to muhd. imran

If you had actually bothered to read Imran's post, you would have noticed that he had a little comic commentary about the various personalities that constitute our class. While I think they are all fine and dandy and really quite amusing (with the exception of #7, which I will declare blasphemy), we must remember that our mini-celebrity (Imran himself) would be excluded if government intervention fails to occur! So without further ado, I present to you

A tribute to Imran

O, where can I possibly start? Those bulging soccer balls and that earnest sex drive that has earned him the prestigious title of buaya? Or perhaps those luscious lips that should be used for Pizza Hut's stuffed crust commercials? Ah, I'll start with the "phases". Imran has three dominant personality "phases" that are utilized every day. (every ardent fan should remember these. so pay attention, all 4 of you out there.)

a) The "I didn't get into RJ! Boo hoo hoo." phase, which can be identified with a slight pout of the lower lip and the tendency to make fun of and lambast everybody that he sees, or at least those not going by the name of Divyesh, who could and would crush him like a cockroach.

b) The "I'm trying to play basketball lar!" phase, which is characterized by a furrow of the inner eyebrows and the habitual biting of people that come too near him (as Divyesh can faithfully attest). Other key signs that this phase is active would be the launching of 3-pointers that would hit more air than inside Andrew's head, and fierce drives to the basket that would often see the basketball ricochet off the board and back into Imran's face.

c) The "Gavin Degraw" look, which lays dormant within Imran and only surfaces when the pop hit "I Don't Wanna Be" is blasted out in a T block classroom. This phase is, without a doubt, the most dangerous Imran phase, but if you skillfully dodge flying tables and chairs on a regular basis then feel free to play this song as often as you can.

If you haven't been swept off your feet by the charming description of the Imran, read on! (alternatively, wait a decade or so till Imran gets his dream job, and he'll do it for you) You lucky girls (and boys, with Imran there are definitely no guarantees) would be glad to know that Imran is still blissfully unattached! Unfortunately, according to reliable sources such as Fauxnatism, he has the strictest of requirements when it comes to his life partner. You have to be a 88-26-33, be stinking rich and go by the name of Fiona Xie. (too bad Anne Nicole Smith outlived the dinosaurs, or she would be quite ideal too)

But hark! A recent poll (regarding Imran's most possible partner) by yours truly showed that majority of the people that know Imran single out a "10 ton anchor" as the entity that Imran would most likely be attached to, with a knuckle sandwich made by Chef Le Muthu Menon a close second.

well, the long overdue blog is finally up. kudos to all those responsible.

rite abt now, i suspect that everyone should be comfortably set in mugging mode (damn muggers.) well save for the few who r still lounging ard thinking that promos is still a gd mth away and that retain is juz sumfink ppl put in their mouth (with me being the prime exponent of this school of thought =] ).

well i guess this is a gd time as any to have some comic relief (the first choice option would be to put andrew's friendster pic up here, however, i have no idea how to) and thus let's have some news abt the ongoings in and ard our class =] :

1. rumour has it that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is amongst us. however the usage of the word "he" has become a matter of debate and confusion. the dark lord has vouched for the use of "he". authorities however remain highly sceptical.
2. some individuals have reported seeing the fabled creature amoz in school premises. though these claims cannot be established due to lack of pictorial evidences, the public has been warned to remain cautious.
3. the latest news in vollywood is that the marriage of singer/actor/director B. Tan with his wife Fiona Xie has hit the rocks. both r currently undergoing counselling. Fiona Xie especially.
4. the public has been warned that a fugitive has escaped changi prison. K. Ling was charged for the murder of 15 000 muggles and is known to be highly volatile n dangerous. if spotted, DO NOT APPROACH and immediately call the relevant authorities, i.e. the l.e.s.l.i.e.
5. paris hilton's sister, ann "drea" hilton has arrived in singapore. fans swarmed changi airport to greet her upon arrival, however many were left disappointed as she left without even a single wave. she has been quoted to say:
   "oh mah gawsh. that is like soooo disguzthinggg."
6. Dee Dee jewellery has gone global. to purchase some of the jewellery pls call 1800- 6254- 4334 (toll free hotline) or visit www.neopets.com
7. Denys has done Singapore proud by winning the Mrs Universe paegent.
8. Several geologists have warned the public abt the upcoming earthquake that they have named Divyesh- Muthu. it has been predicted to hit india's south- eastern coast and several ppl have been evacuated. though tt would do little to save them from this upcoming disaster.

denys - actually this one quite useless.

Anyway, hello everyone and thanks for visiting! If you visited this blog sometime before 10:50 pm (which is coincedentally like, now), you probably would have noted that reading all of the posts was like trying to convince Divyesh to slim down. I blame Bertrand because it is all his fault that the template got messed up, but since he did a lot of other stuff I shall be benevolant and forgive him anyway. =)

Announcement: Wednesday - Pat Leong's make-up lesson! If you are planning to pon, please remember to stay away from VJC for about the whole morning (I know it sounds very duh but experience has taught me never to underestimate A53), if not she will catch you and decimate you like Divyesh devours his overpriced brownies. okay.
firstly MAJOR thanks to denys for the effort..really says sth abt me when all the 3 blogs i hv maintained are group blogs.sigh.my life has so much going on but i never take the effort to update ANY ONE!!!its annoying and sometimes i feel like doing it but i need a personal assistant 1st!any offers!? =) so the qn really is: shld i resurface a personal blog? =S D.i.l.e.m.m.a.

secondly.i realised i only thanked denys.but hes def not the only one who contributed!er everyone else who tagged and posted.(our friends, fellow a53ers,interested 3rd parties ETC)so Thankuthankuthanku to all the rest!

Denys - whew.

Not that I want to constantly hog the headlines or anything, but I must comment that for a first day, our class blog is beautiful. =) ego ego. When the site first loads, we're already treated to the typical A53 conversation. (if you don't understand, mmm, chances are you aren't supposed to) I wrote some cryptic gibberish under Class (I give it about 3 hours before the IMH people show up), while Bertrand pretty much put up most of links as well as the tagboard. Oh yeah, we spent about an hour dealing with the "readability" of the text, so if you have any problems reading it now, I don't care; it sure as heck isn't our fault. =)

Oh oh! I have also taken the liberty of advertising our blog to not only our senior class, but 05A52 and 05A55 as well! Man ,where would you guys be without your lovely and wonderful assistant CT. rep.? (aka me)

Anyway, donations of any funky pictures (Nicola trying in vain to teach Andrew F-Dance, Imran trying to look handsome and failing miserably, etc.) will be accepted with wide grins and cheeky winks, so send 'em over. I shall go catch up on my sleep now before my library of Maroon 5 songs (all 3 of them) overwhelm me. G'night!

After a grueling, excruciating period of about 30 seconds, my hard work and countless little droplets of blood have finally materialized into this ugly, void-of-any-colours-whatsoever blog that you stands before you right now. As you can see, I have gone to great amounts of pain to ensure that everything on this blog (other than the colour, lack of tagboard and lack of links) is perfect.

For example! Note the very appropiate title (or name) of the blog - The Greatest Blog Ever (after Fauxnatism); this means that we are now as hip, or more hip than, A52 and A55 due to a variety of factors that unfortunately cannot be then subdivided into political, social, economic and military

This textbox had been conquered by us aliens from the planet Ay-Fie-Tree, its inhabitants brutally murdered by dangerous weapons of terriorism such as Horrifying Music (see Spears, Britney) and Even More Horrifying Music (see Imran, Muhd).

Scouring the surroundings, we discovered remnants of what the inferior (and now rightly extinct) civilization termed a "Wonderwall". On this obscure structure, mysterious symbols carved onto the wall were discovered, and after much hard work we were finally able to decode parts of the mystical language. The following were scribbled onto the wall, in no particular order...
